I was planning on switching from an advanced novice routine to an intermediate split routine. I dont believe I'm a true intermediate, however I am finding myself absolutely drained after my squats, and as it is my sessions are pushing an hour and a half. I dont want my other lifts to suffer, and also dont have the time to be lifting 2+ hrs. That being said, i was going to switch to something close to the "one lift per day", looks like this:

Day 1: Bench 3x5, light presses (80% of 5's) and tricep ext
Day 2: Squat 3x5, RDL and chins
Day 3: Press 3x5, dips and tricep rxt
Day 4: Light squat (80% of 5's), deadlift 1x5, bb rows

Weight will be added once a week. Thats really it. The only change is that instead of cycling between 5x3, 5x5, 5x1, im just always doing 3x5 (until i need to switch to 1x5, 2x5 or 3x3) and adding weight weekly.

    Thanks!

    That's a good plan. It'll work fine.
