    Default Something other than SLDL for your "3 or 4 day TM, why not both" methodology ?

    I just switched over from the SS LP to the method described in your blog article. SLDLs felt good during the first workout (85kg x5, 90 kg x5 ,95kg x5), but had me hobbling for days afterwards due to hamstring stiffness. I attempted the second workout with SLDLs at 90kg 3x5, and something in right hamstring went wrong during 4th rep of 3rd set. I'm no physician, but maybe tearing of some sort? I'm not immobile, but there is definitely some sort of injury.

    So yes, next time I do the SLDL, I'll significantly deload. But then there's no stress on hips/lower back.

    If you don't mind, what's your recommendation for something other than SLDLs that isn't as stressful on the hamstrings?

    You could just DL on both days. Spread out that way you can do once heavy in the 1-3 range and the other day train your 5s.
