why? because you can use more weight? like a whole 2% more, maybe.

Seems like would be hard on your arch 200#lifter + 500#-700# barbell with no support whatsoever.

Mr. Marenghi, for the last few years I have been under the illusion that Starting Strength was the only universe.

It has only been recently that I have learned that we are truly not alone. There really are other galaxies.

Please help me expand my horizons and tell me about the specific "galaxies" you speak of.

Greetings, from another life-form. I come in peace.

For a dude who runs a humor thread in E&P, you sure don't have much of a sense of humor. Are you dieting like Izzy? Low carbs making you angry bro?

So deadlift in shoes with heels if that gives you warm & fuzzy feelings. And WGAF about arch support? If my feet fail, I'll get orthotics, or some other device.

see where I wrote "maybe" . . . it was a guess; plus or minus.

Just trading a speck of ROM for a smidge of pounds.

If anyone has that thing of Jordan's, I'd like a link . . .am not internet savvy.

Actually, my sense of humor is legendary among people that know me. No dieting for me, I eat what I want.

Here's a little project for you. Make a list of all the world record deadlifts that were performed in heeled shoes. Good luck finding any.

    Right, reference Shug's typical statement:

something Shugg doesn't do = "retarded"

    And WGAF about arch support?
