Modified TEXAS METHOD to include conditioning!
Hi Andy.
I've done LP thoroughly, squat 180kg x 5, press 85kg x 5, bench 130kg x 5, deadlift 210kg x 5, BW: 106kg, and now I'm moving to intermediate. Since after novice phase I want to include conditioning, I made a compromise of Texas method/Conditioning, and I would like to have your opinion.
DAY 1
squat 5x5 / 1x5 (alternate weekly)
bench press/press 5x5 at 90% of 1x5
power clean 5x3
CONDITIONING - DAY 2
sprinting - 100m/200m
REST - DAY 3
RECOVERY - DAY 4
squat 2x5 at 70% of 1x5
bench press/press 3x5 at 80% of 1x5
pull-ups 3x max
back extensions 3x max
REST - DAY 5
MEDIUM - DAY 6
squat 3x5 at 80% of 1x5
bench press/press 1x5
deadlift 1x5
conditioning vertical jumps
CONDITIONING - DAY 7
sprinting - 400m
REST - DAY 8
and on day 9, start again.
Because of heavy impact on legs from sprinting, I know I can't do volume and intensity in the same week for squats. Is it too little or too much to do 3x5 at 80% of 1x5 on Friday?
Kind regards Andy,
Sanjin Imanic.

You could probably get away with:
Monday - Heavy Squat/Bench / Power Clean
Tuesday - Sprints
Weds - Light Squat / Press / Chins
Thurs - Off
Friday - Medium Squat / Bench / Deads
Sat-Sprint
Sun - Off

Thanks Andy, thanks a lot.
