Doing the program and gaining weight aren't magic, but they do work pretty well, and that's why we recommend them.
Then listen to Tom Narvaez. PTW is his site.
Like I said, so is lifting. I'm not going to tell you it's a moral imperative to gain weight, but sometimes we have to do hard things to get the results we want. It's really hard for me to gain weight
Male, 173cm i guess.
Roll with me for a few days, and I can show you how to gain weight. :-)
Why do people of this forum so strongly advise to gain weight? It really gets redundant and i asked for opinion on the program, not my weight. Anyway, goal is ~80kg by the end of the year, not sure if possible.
Does it include roids?Roll with me for a few days, and I can show you how to gain weight. :-)
The absolute easiest way to get stronger is to gain weight while you do it. Every lift will go up while gaining weight. As Hanley mentioned, hypertrophy. A bigger muscle tends to be a stronger muscle.
It also works the other way - if you lose weight, your lifts go down. This is noticed on the bench & overhead press especially.
It is absolutely possible to get stronger while maintaining the same weight. The difficulty comes because your diet, recovery, and stress you impart to your body must all be tightly controlled.
