    I have been doing 2 lifts per day for about 3 years now. I do it because I like to train 7 days a week, and it suits my goals while keeping the workouts to about 60 mins per day.

    It's doable but not as good as THE PROGRAM. If you want to get stronger do the program as written.

    Fallen: that looks to me like an intermediate program, a bit TMish -- I'm still a novice.

    Dujin: I think the program is great, but as the first question reminds us it can't be rushed, and I need a compromise that will fit my schedule. While the workouts have got longer, my priorities at work and with the kids have shifted a bit. While I don't expect it to be better than Rip's program, I feel like the slight shift of emphasis towards upper body might address my weak presses, which I've always overlooked compared to squats and deads.

    Oh yeah, that was a version of TM. Sorry, wasn't sure which program you were referring to.
