Yes, I don't mind if you AMRAP that last set. If you are getting just a few additional reps that's fine, but if you are able to get like 10+ or something then you were way off on your 1RM estimate
Andy: Really enjoying the GGW I purchased, currently on week 8 and am finding it quite easy as I estimated my RM in the beginning as you recommended, my question is can I perform AMRAP on my Monday lifts on the last set or increase my reps?? I am progressing very well and plan on running it a second time when I complete this run. I am sure I am going to see some real good results at the end of this cycle. Brief bio. age 57, weight 235lbs other than dealing with bad dull aching knees the day after each workout all is good.
P.S. I did box squats [parallel] for 3 weeks to see if knee slide was responsible for my knee pain but I didn't feel any relief
