how to start KSC Method for raw powerlifting.
I purchased the KSC method for power lifting but not sure about the best way to start it.
I'm currently an advanced novice and, I just did a club meet on Saturday 6/10/17.
At this club meet my lifts were 460 squat, 275 bench and 475 deadlift.
Age 49, bodyweight 230 lbs. 5'7" tall
Since I'm doing another meet just 4 weeks from now, would it be ok to skip ahead to week 4 of your 7 week program (using my 1RM's from Saturday's meet) and start there?
Or should I stay on advanced novice? I am still capable of adding 5 lbs. to squat twice a week for 1 set of five with 2 back off sets. Bench, deadlift and press are slow, grinding, efforts.
I'm not sure what would be best programing during this short time between 2 powerlifting meets.
5 rep sets on LP are currently at:
410 squat,
245 bench,
177.5 press
415 deadlift
