    Hey Andy

Long story short, getting tired of my Olympic Lifting focus. Intersection Syndrome from snatching and my inability to front squat due to my torn knee makes training kind of a bastard.

Anyways, for a while now I've been playing around with the idea of competing in a Highland Games event (one year from now). I was looking around and found Starrs old throwers program.

Do you think this is a good fit, or would you make some changes? Or would you do something completely different?

    Thank you

    Br

Don't have time to read this right now. Maybe will get to it later. I have my own throwing program I use. Basically a Heavy-Light-Medium program focused on a blend of traditional heavy barbell work, dynamic effort work, and olympic lifts. Upcoming product underway for this program, but basically:

    Mon - Clean / Squat / Bench
    Weds - Snatch / F Squat / Press
Fri - DE Squat / Incline / Deadlift

Mon - Clean / Push Press / Squat
Wed - Snatch / Front Squat / DE Bench + Close Grip Bench
Fri - DE Squat / Press / Deadlift
    Fri

Oh sounds cool, very much looking forward to reading about it.

Thanks for the feedback though, I like the look of that!

Dont you program any horizontal pull work - or just not shown in the basic building blocks of the plan?
