    Instead of wasting your time massaging your lacrosse balls in the Amazon or whatever they are saying, just fix your technique.

    The lacrosse ball is helping. Yes, it's not a magic bullet, but it is helping loosen up my back, butt and hamstring muscles. Today's squats felt better already. Yes, I'm working on form as well, since that is what put me in this position to begin with. Call me a sucker, but placebo or not, I feel it helps. We'll see about this as I up the weight though.

    Could be quadratus lumborum.
    Hip bridges might help.

    Side planks and suitcase carries workout the QL heavily....glute bridges not so much.

    Well, just to update, the pain is mostly gone now. Using the lacrosse ball for a couple of minutes a day seemed to do the trick. That and cleaning up my form. But the ball helped loosen a lot of tension from the pain.
