    I dont think anyone in my condition would lift any weights up till herniated disc is not recovered..

    I made that mistake. Herniated discs don't really recover and being sedentary makes things much worse. The best thing you can do for that disc is to make everything around it stronger.

    If you have the range of motion, you need to start training.
