    Hi Coach Rippetoe,
I've been running your starting strength program for a few months and I've recently stalled in my squat. I completed 330 for 3 sets of 5 on a friday. The following monday I completed 1 set of 4 at 335. I'm 18, 6'1 and at a body weight of 210 and due to work I didn't get quite as much sleep as I would have liked that weekend. I took the next week off of lifting heavy to recover because the last few weeks had taken their toll on me. I'm wondering whether I should simply drop the weights and continue with starting strength until I stall again or whether I should switch to the Texas method. Thanks

    Default Not to be presumptuous

but the coach may advise to eat more and get your weight up to about 240
