So I've hit a pr on squats about 5 hours ago.
10 min ago I had a very bad cramp on my right quad from doing a squat without a barbell (just for fun at home). Short term : what do I do to stop it, when it starts again at night?
Long term : how long does this risk of getting a 2nd cramp exist? (Don't want to collapse under the bar next session)

Are you drinking enough water? Are you getting enough salt? I usually fix cramps with water or Gatorade. Sometimes a salt pill.

Yeah I drink like a gallon of water a day. Salt intake could be higher.
I just realized that I can't bend my right leg as much as my left.

Do you think you sweat that much to require a GOWAD?
Do you live somewhere real hot and dry or something?
    Its winter now . . .

You need salt to go along with all that water; you MIGHT be just diluting your system so to speak.

I live in Germany. I get thursty all the time for some reason. My quads hurt when I flex them, could be soreness. Do you think it's safe to squats tomorrow again (it's my light squat day)? I don't want to snap my shit up by getting a cramp during a rep.
