    Default 270x5 paused squat check

    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    im doing paused squats for my light day on my current HLM setup. mostly to work on technique and lumbar stability in the hole, and hip drahve. can i get a tech critique plz, be mean.( i can take it)

    These are not bad. But since you want some criticism: You are holding your knees back too much on your descent, get them pushed forward another inch or two towards your toes before setting them. On the ascent the first move should be hips up, not hips back.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm interested in his grip for my curiosity.

    Should his elbows be further back, or are they horizontal enough? Is this related to the knee issue?

    Elbow position looks perfect, IMO. Why would you want them more horizontal?
