I gotcha. I used to work that schedule. Loved the schedule, hated it for training. My "long week" of M,T,F,S,S never seemed to afford me enough training time.

Forgive me if the answer is obvious, but I don't see any intensity days in your program. Are you only doing volume work?
Agreed. You will hopefully see some records broken. We had a guy pull 660 at 181 - that was cool to watch.
Just wait until the morning of... you will feel like your going to shit yourself...
Not to get this thread back on track, but... when I was studying for my certification, I was watching the included DVD and some of the techniques demonstrated were not just poor form, but...
I took a 1/2 gallon of milk, lots of water, sandwiches, applesauce, etc. You'll have plenty of time to eat.
Your numbers are very good and would have been top 5 in the 198 at my meet.. probably...
Does "spread the floor" help you get your knees out and femurs in line with your feet? If it does, then I suppose that's the cue to use.
My personal opinion is you are over-thinking this one.
Another vote for R3, flat bench and Rogue Power Bar.
+1 for silence. I don't mind music, but generally, I just like to listen to whatever I normally like to listen to... country and classic rock, mostly.
Unfortunately, the same voters will come out in droves again to keep this President in office. I hope I'm wrong.
We all know that's unlikely to happen.

Yes, I used PL400 (I think it was 400, just check the specs for the different types) and screws.
It looks like you are starting the movement by dropping down instead of shoving ass back. Near the bottom is really the first indication of ass moving back.
Thanks! My deadlift finished nicely with 418, 446 and a PR final attempt 474.
The tips were much appreciated! See you in a month.
I tacked some of this advice onto the end of another thread, but figured it could be more helpful to some as a standalone.. I also added a few thoughts.
Disclaimer 1: This is highly individual...
I'll toss out another option.. Rogue Power Bar. Have had it for a year and love it.
Well I got home not too long ago... the meet went well and I'm pleased with my performance ---- lots of room to improve though.
First thing I'll say is that a meet is a rewarding and very humbling...
I stalled around the same place (330) and I went all the way down to 275 x 5 x 5 (80-85% of where I stalled). Starting lower gave me a really good running start for weeks/months of progress. Also,...
Well folks, here goes nothing. First USAPL meet tomorrow. I'll be competing raw/198. Openers will be the closest kg increment to 350/250/435. I'm trying to not focus on the numbers too much, but...
Is your meet on Saturday? I've got my first meet (USAPL) on Saturday. I'm competing in the 198 and my numbers are very similar to yours. Good luck!
