"So having no freedom balances quite well with... what exactly? The wonderful health system? Their level of living? With what exactly"
Well you've managed two pretty good ones so far,...
*Apologies for the length of this post, but I was asked...
Well Hurling,
Indeed many of the buildings are crumbling, although most tend to be safe enough. The government does re-house the people...
In all honesty I don't know enough about that, I wasn't involved in weight training at all whilst I was out there. I'd be surprised if you'd find much good quality equipment except for in the sports...
I can believe it if it was in 1956, as your country used to allow you to travel freely to Cuba back then, when the island was run by decent gentlemen such as Batista and the mafia, who were obviously...
and that it's made of cheese.
have you ever been to Cuba? i'm guessing not. but you're quite obviously an 'expert' on how things are over there...

i'm 30 and i don't bench heavy either.
maybe one day!
you just convinced me to go to the page
where in peru are you? high in the mountains? if so acclimatisation could be an issue, even if you've been there a while you'll need to also get used to exercising in those conditions.
having read a few issues I'm under the impression that pretty much whatever gets printed in Men's Health is basically a "mistake" of some sort or another...
if the "good morning squat" is done consistently that way then it probably isn't so unsafe.
however, if it is something that is done here and there as a bad rep of an otherwise decent squat...
you said it for me.
even so...
1s ascent for a "half-squat", well yeah anything is possible there.
