I'm no bench pro, but it looks to me like you are dropping the bar too low (the very bottom of your sternum or lower). It's hard to see exactly where because the plates. You should be shooting for around 75 degrees from your torso. Also you don't need to breath between reps. Take a deep breath and bust them out.

Too much tuck with your elbows, read the part in the bench chapter about the moment arm created due to the slightly non-vertical bar path.

Also, in the future, film from an angle between front and side on, and post your video in the technique forum. Rip doesn't have time to critique every novices lifts who have ever started SS.

Well I just wanted to see if Rip would critique my form...guess not.

100lbs. Not great but not terrible. My max is 185 currently.

Form isnt great. bringing bar too far down chest. I read that you are reading the book finally. There is a good picture in it showing the bottom position of the bench.

Also yes you are breathing too much. Also I cant see in the video but make sure your shoulder blades are really pinched back into the bench and keep them tight until extension.

Also, dont be a dick. Just because Ripp doesnt critique you doesnt mean other people here arent (much more than me) qualified to give feedback.

Well it would just be cool to get feedback from the author of the book. What do you mean breathing too much? I breathe before every rep. How is that bad?
