So today I got to face a giant barrier in my strength training. I got diagnosed with Spondylolisthesis. The doc says from now on squats and deadlifts should be out of my workout routine, possibly for life. I think im good doing upperbody stuff like overhead and bench press, plus chin ups and pull ups, but besides that im pretty much screwed...
I wonder if you guys have any advice for someone in this condition, some alternate path perhaps. Should I start hitting the machines? (please, no!) Or do yoga or whatever (thats what the doc said I should stick with...)? Please help!
