    Chins didn't happen. Unfortunately while working on the new press technique I ignored some elbow pain when I should not have. Sometimes you just make the wrong call. The thing is pretty swollen and won't bend all the way. However, the pre-test on Friday went well nevertheless and we set a testing date. Now I just have to get serious about letting my injury heal.

    My elbow is totally fucked. Can't press, chin, dip or power clean (can't bend it enough to rack the bar). Bench seemed to be ok. I hope I'm right about that, my track record right now making these judgment calls is suspect. I have to have to have to heal this by June. Earlier would be better. So, I will just play it by ear.

    Everything felt solid today. Except my will was lacking. I just...didn't want to do it, starting with the third set of squats. Funny how that goes. It was a suck it up and do it anyway day. The one thing that didn't go right was my fourth deadlift which caught on my thighs almost at the top. I pulled my shorts lower before doing the fifth rep so it wouldn't happen again. It was really annoying and I wonder if my form was to blame. Next time I'll film them.

    Thank you! She had a good life and we miss her. Elbow is so-so, but getting better. I just have to cease being a dummy, haha.

    205x5 My best limit set of five yet. I blame this on the form improvements Tom helped me to make a couple weeks ago.

    Bench improvement is slowing down, and I realized that because I'm not pressing right now, I'm actually adding weight to my bench twice as fast as usual. I'll stay at triples until I start missing those and then slow down and try to work back up to fives.

    No power cleans, rack position still too hard on my elbow. If I were not trying to save myself for June testing I would have done it anyway. But I am trying to be good.

    My arm is as bad as it's ever been hence the three sets of bench and not five, and also the last set of deadlifts it didn't want to straighten and the tendon was pulling and the pain was too bad, so I stopped, did my pressure point release thingy and went back and did the other two reps. 270 felt fine, it was just my arm. New plan, after training, ice.
