So I would guess Ryan's P90X results are a great demonstration of the novice effect. How would he look after 9 weeks of SS? Even better, after 6 months of either program?
You take the bar as if squatting, but with a wider grip. You get down to a not-too-deep good morning, then as you come back up you start accelerating until you thrust the bar off your sholder and put it over your head. The final part is more of a push-press than a jerk, but it's still quite dynamic.
So the guy might have a vaguely good idea in his mind. Just the idea though.
This one has it all. Hard to pick a favourite. Unstable surface deadlifting. The "renegade performance coach" teaching the forward roll. Another renegade high-fiving a 205lb 1/16th squat.
