Practically everyone on my mother side of the family has severe type 2 diabetes. My two uncles who where both very skinny are now dead from it.

Ive started to drink loads of milk when beginning training and have found it delicious, I cant see how I lived without it.

I also started eating peanut butter, eating it with a spoon like other would eat yoghurt.

I just found these articles stating that both milk and peanuts significantly reduce risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

I had been rather worried about getting it in the future. But the fact that nuts & milk are now staples in my diet and that I cannot live without strenuous physical activity makes me fairly confident of a healthy future.
