Default Gallon of milk in under 1 hour

I don't think I'll find a bigger group of people who drink so much milk anywhere else on the internet. What I'm wondering is if this is actually possible without puking and if anyone has ever successfully completed the Gallon Challenge.

I dunno about you guys, but an hour seems pretty easy. 10 minutes is a challenge.

8 pints in an hour? I'm only on about 3 pints a day, but I reckon I could do that. Maybe I'll give it a go after the next shopping trip.

There's a great thread on Rip's Q&A where he details some of his more significant eating highlights. A gallon in 30 minutes is one of them: http://www.startingstrength.com/reso...4&postcount=26

Edit: this is one of the more entertaining threads on this site. The whole thing is recommended.

I am proud to say that I have successfully completed the gallon of milk challenge, its very much possible. I figured it'd be easy. I was wrong. I was overwhelmed with the urge to vomit after about 50 minutes with two glasses of milk remaining. I regained my composure and finished without blowing chunks of cheese everywhere, but I felt like shit for about 3 hours afterwards. For those of you who think this is an easy feat I challenge you to try it.

Okay, you want to know what I ate. I have eaten a dozen eggs for breakfast before, but always ate 6 with toast and milk, and 5 bowls of raisin bran was quite normal until my members asked to stop doing that. I have eaten 11 10-oz. steaks at an all-you-can-eat steak deal -- several of us went there, and the special was discontinued the following week. I have eaten 4 very large plates of spaghetti and meat sauce in 30 minutes. I have eaten 15 pork chops + vegetables at the Olympic Training Center back when the food was really good. I have eaten 225 shrimp in an hour. At a seafood buffet in Michigan, I ate 10 lobsters and the claws off of 10 more, in addition to shrimp, crab legs, lobster bisque, clam chowder, and bread, in 2 hours. I have eaten 7 big bowls of Mongolian BBQ. I have had a gallon of milk in less than 30 minutes. I was very expensive to feed, but I am told by reputable sources that I was absolutely nothing compared to Phil Grippaldi.
    Holy. Fuck.

And I thought I ate alot...

I tried the milk challenge a couple years ago and couldn't hang. I was pretty surprised that I puked, actually. I grew up drinking shitloads of milk. Between my dad and I, we'd go through a half dozen plus gallons of milk a week. Almost without fail, I have two 16oz glasses of milk with every meal, and a glass or two between meals, and I've been doing that for years, since I was a little kid. So I figured if I drink a quarter gallon in 5 - 10 minutes on a regular basis, how hard could a gallon be in an hour? But after about 100oz or so, my stomach decided it had had enough, and there was no fighting it back, either.

I've never tried the gallon challenge. I used to think I could do it, but not as much anymore.

I do remember eating 11 pieces of fried chicken one night when I was a kid. It was not a pretty site when I woke up. Let's just say that's the only time I've sleep-hurled.

I've never tried it, although I think maybe I could. I have no problem downing a quart in 5-10 minutes, and that's almost daily. The only thing is I don't know what kind of gas this might create, or other fun excrement. It would have to be done on a day when my wife was gone and I would not have to be anywhere outside the house that day.

I usually forget to drink my milk until the evening, so I quickly drink it all and then crash. It used to take me three hours to finish it, but now I can finish 4L of milk (a little over a gallon of 3.78L) in a little over an hour, and do so a couple of times a week. By the end of it you usually make 'glug' sounds as you move, but you get used to it. 1HR GOMAD challenge is trainable and doable.
