    He's a bad athlete, that's all. He'd be a good guy if he wasn't so fucking childish. Do you know you can't even curse in his forum? just how the fuck am I supposed to communicate?!

    I would ask anyone who responded like that if they've every actually looked at a speed skater before.

    Lyle has an evil forum that allows swearing, trolling, etc. Just google Lyle McDonald Monkey Island.

    As a Skinny bastard who just started out training 5 weeks ago (on Stronglifts, so slow early progression, moved over to SS last week) these are my figures for body comp:

    Start -> Now
    BW: 52.6 -> 57.3
    BF%: 6.7 -> 10.4
    Fat Gained = 2.4
    LBM Gained = 2.3

    Zach's 60/40 LBM/Fat split seems certainly reasonable to me as that was my split after 2 weeks (0.8kg Fat, 1.2kg LBM)

    I measure my BF% using my Omron scales first thing in the morning after having a shit to try and keep as many variables in check as possible.

    I have also started upping my food intake as it gets easier for me to eat the required amount, so with both moving to SS and more food, I expect to see my gains increase.

    Exactly. I didnt agree with Rip's estimation, but the point is that had he used the numbers I thought were more reasonable then the baseline LBM would have been even lower, and thus the gains even greater. Rip erred on the side of caution to make his point.

    Reds are 25 kilos so thats 120 (264) with the reds and the bar.

    I have no idea what the change is but it's less than 25 kilos so it's less than 170 kilos or 374lbs.

    They're either Ivanko 10kg or 5kg. Hard to say as I don't get to use Ivanko gear much. So 130kg or 140kg.
