Perhaps you could clarify, because everybody has a lordosis.
Thought I'd already wrote this but it hasn't come up.
I've had lordosis for a while before I started lifting, squatting and deadlifting hurts my lower back and 2 weeks ago I was squatting 90kg and deadlifting 110kg, last training session I couldn't squat 80kg or deadlift 100kg without pain. In the book I saw a stretch that helps lower back but is there anything else you'd suggest?

Also when squatting and deadlifting I get back pain but no feeling in my traps, upper back or glutes and the muscles that should be worked. I hope i've not made any lasting damage
Hyperlordosis, as we call it here. It doesn't seem to be a problem for most people. I'd advise that you stretch into lumbar flexion and do some heavy situps to produce more anterior tension.
