    Epic indeed.

I've been all over the place. Took a week off, got sick, had finals, started another job, haven't really done any consistent training. I have been running/riding. Did 5x20 for dips which was random but cool. Still squatting mid 400's and deadlifting 500. Press has dipped but I got 200 for a few singles. Trying to be more consistent with training but I'm kind of winging it.

    Fri
    Squat: 2x10x45, 5x135. 5x225, 5x315, 5x405, 3x425, 445
    PC: 3x1x135, 2x1x185, 5x1x225
    DL: 315, 365, 405, 455, fail 505

Flew in from Florida last night. Not bad for not squatting for 2 weeks. Going for a U/L split while my schedule is messed up. Gearing up for a bicycle ride to work and back ~20mile round trip with work in between.

You're gonna be ready for THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT (TEOTWAWKI) with all this bike riding. Nice.

Guns, water, and gas are all you need. Strength and cardio never hurt. Think you could ride a bicycle around in a post apocalyptic landscape?

I suppose if it's like the movie "The Road," then probably not. But if you lived in a good community who prepared--at least mentally--ahead of time, bicycle riders would be necessity once fuel was gone.

The worst thing about the apocalypse will be the short supply of pretty women offering haircuts.

    Saturday Upper Body

    Bench: 2x10x45, 10x135, 10x185, 5x225, 3x245, 2x255, 5x225
    Pullups: 3x10
    Press: 2x10x45, 5x95, 5x135, fail 185, 8x135

Weaksauce workout. I almost called it before I even started but gave it a try. Tomorrow is a new day and I might try to get a solid press workout in as well as doing some carry work.

    Tues

    squat: 2x10x45, 5x135, 5x225, 5x315, 3x415, 3x430, 455
    press: 2x10x45, 5x95, 5x135, 3x155, 3x3x185, 14x135
    power clean + PP: 3x135, 2x185, 3x2x225

Decent workout. Not happy about Press decline. Been feeling really weak but I think I've just fallen out of rhythm. I've been told that I'm looking lean and I've been a consistent 216 so that's cool I s'pose.

    Going wild

Missed logging only a few workouts. Today hit a few squat singles at 405, was harder than it should have been. Pressed ascending triples up to 3x185. Knocked out a set of 40 pushups on a whim. Probably could have got 50-60 using the "leaning rest."

Work has been mauling my workouts. Once a week blows. Today my hands are torn in more places than a crossfitter from digging holes. I miss my 3x193 press. Still sub 220 bw.

Thursday it was so hot out, I seriously drank 2 gallons of water between urinations.

    OHSQ: 2x10x45, 2x5x95, 5x135, 155, 175, 185, 205
    FS: 2x5x135, 5x185, 3x5x225
    Push press: 3x135, 3x185, 225, 230, 235, 240

Just barely missed 245 on a push press. Feeling tired.

I really enjoy reading your log, Willie. You are like the energizer bunny, you just keep going and going and going. Always 'all head full'!
