Interesting. What are the dislikes about the weighted vest? Comfort? It sure sounds uncomfortable. I wonder if one could just use a backpack with weights? I'm blathering here, because I don't have a prowler and will probably be doing hills someday..

It chaffes, it rubs, it gets sweaty, it stinks over time, its expensive, and it doesn't (in my experience) provide the same level of return/gains for effort spent as the ol' prowler.

Completely agree. The prowler is a special kind of hell.

I would totally get a prowler....if I had a place to put it. When I do, I'll definitely get one.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Presses: warms: bar/5, 95/5, 135/5, 155/3, 185/2, work: 205X6X3, drop 125X12
Floor Press (tricep work): bar/5, 95/5, 135/10, 185/8, 205/5, 225/5 --could've gone much heavier but this is a new movement for me and that was a good start.
Cable biceps curl: 6 sets of 12...I may have done 7 sets..I lost count.
Feeling good today. I love heavy tricep work. Makes my arms jacked.

Me too man. I think close grip bench/curl day is becoming one of my favorites.

When I am as big and strong as you, I might feel this way. Right now, I just want to squat and deadlift in hopes of getting big and strong. Love reading these big numbers, nice job.

    Thanks Mac.

    Squat: warms: bar/5, 135/5, 225/3, 315/3, work: 350X10 *PR
    Bench: warms: bar/5, 135/5, 225/3, 275/1, work: 310X8X4sets
Deads: warm: 315/5 no touch, work: 405X5X3sets (no touch)

    Squat workset: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCxZ8YoQF0E
    Bench last workset: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zh877LfEme0

The squat workset was a PR but a small one. My best for 10 was 345....and it was fugly--during my short stint with GSLP which didn't work very well for me in the getting stronger department. Today, this was not bad and I had more in me. I was breathing like heck afterwards. So it was good for my cardio too. I took short rests throughout this workout so that was also good for my conditioning. I cut my cals this week a little by cleaning up my food preparation (same amount of food...just less extra stuff on it) so my energy levels were kind of low. I think I will make sure to eat a little bit more the day before a squat bench deadlift session so that I'm not so out of it. I also didn't get much sleep since the little one was up a lot last night...but she's getting some nice looking chompers--very cute : )

Thanks guys...Got my weekly program in the mail yesterday...next is 365X10 for squats. The way my legs feel today (I'm usually the worst sore two days after), I'm just ignoring the fact that I'm going to do this to myself all over again next weekend.
