    Benches felt really good this morning, bumped up 2 reps on the DB bench which was encouraging. I was surprised I was so out of sorts on it since it really hasn't been that long since I performed them. The strength seems to be coming back a bit. Very pleased with the ab wheel too.

    I'm not going to survive the Grandkids. If I don't shoot myself, the wife is going to cap me. The 9 month old screams anytime I hold her, the wife had to leave us for 4 hours today to run some errands. Use your imagination as to my state of mind when she got home. On a positive note the 4 year old had a wonderful time with her Papa planting some seed vegetables and replanting others. I also found that when she went out with me while I was actively pursuing some wascally wabbits with their demise being planned, I realized that I will HAVE to take her deer hunting with me soon though it is obvious we won't get within a mile of one!

    I needed some time off heavy curls, my elbow is bothering me when I do them with the ez curl bar. Squats were wonderful feeling, when I racked the bar I felt like I had at least a 500 lurking there but I dropped my belt and stripped down the bar before I could go any heavier. Ice is on my knee as I 'speak' and will continue to work very slowly and easily until I am relatively sure that nothing is going to blow up or pop loose! For some odd reason when I do chin ladders I am as tired or more tired than when I do one or two high rep sets.

    I am one tuckered dawg. We cut up 2 1/2 cords of fir today and I got one home, waiting for the tequila to kick in enough to relax my low back so I can unload it. Going to bring home the other 1 1/2 to my lifting partners house tomorrow. I can't imagine deadlifting in the morning, but I still hope to.

    I was in a big hurry to get to a blood draw this morning so I just did a short workout. At first I was unhappy at only close gripping 375 and it felt kind of heavy especially with the elbow pain I am dealing with right now, then it dawned on me that I close gripped 375 after not lifting very heavy for quite a few months. Not bad, really..

    Based on your advice I bought a Ab Wheel, now I have a unerving pain somewhere
    between my belly button and my favorite toy and I just wanted to swing by and thank
    you for this helpful advice.
