I'm sorry to hear about the setbacks you are having.
I think knee wraps could be an option. I don't know how deep you squat, but maybe just going down to PL depth would be better? I like the idea of the raised handles on the trap bar too.
I'm not an expert by any means, just throwing out ideas. I hope you find something that works for you. I like the curling goal too, that would be awesome!
