Default Clothes starting to not fit

I work in a bank, so the dress code is normally suits, or shirt tie and dresspants at the least. The problem I'm having is that my thighs and ass have gotten so big that my pants are getting too tight; to the point that putting anything in my pockets is uncomfortable. My waist hasn't gotten much bigger, so I'm having a hard time finding dress pants that are made for dudes with muscular thighs but a smaller waist.

Also, my shoulders make my dress shirts fit all wrong.

Any suggestions on name brands or types of clothes that would help? I really don't want to buy clothing that is really too big for me, just to accomodate my manly thighs and shoulders.

I forget what brand my suit is, but they make they a little more shaped for men instead of little girly boys.

I'll get back to you this evening

    Welcome to the club.

I have found that anywhere that sells a LOT of stuff (walmart) is useless because most dudes have a waist that is larger than their ass.

I bought a CK suit last year and they are apparently designed with "athletic men" in mind. Try that. Tip Top Tailors and Moore's (I don't know if these are strictly Canadian, but those stores are "where you go for a suit" generally) are totally useless.

Jos A Banks is pretty good since they have an in-house tailor. A lot of what they sell is the same stuff in much higher end stores while other items are about Belk grade.

I hadn't noticed any difference since I started until I put on some of my "loose" jeans last week. Average pants have always been tight on my legs, but it's weird to have loose fit jeans tight. Especially weird to have them tight on my ass since I've always suffered from noassatall.

A lot of good quality modern formal trousers now have some lycra stretch built in. I have one pair, they are the only tousers that I found that fit!

Anything with big enough seat/thighs is super baggy and looks like clown trousers.

That's my concern. I don't want to look like I'm wearing clown pants, and I don't want my shirt to look like a circus tent.

Pleated pants will fit much better than flat fronts. I can still wear some of my pleated pants from my pre-SS days, but I seem to outgrow flat front pants within weeks of buying them.

I gained 45 lbs my first year of SS. I went from a medium to a XL for shirts and a 32 to a 38 for pants. Suit went from a 36 to a 44 chest I believe.

It sucked; I had to replace my entire wardrobe. Nothing fit me any more. I had all these nice clothes I bought when I was in Europe like a nice suit and jacket from London and some really unique dress shirts from Italy. All of it I had to give away and start over. My brother and my friends were really, really lucky as I gave it mostly to them.

So yeah, it sucks. I know how your feel.
