Get STRONG or die trying
Hi all. I'm new to lifting, however I managed to come across 'starting strength' and, reading around the internet, it seems like a very promising place to start my quest of becoming immensely strong.
For the past month i've been heading down to the gym, working on form (mostly just with the bars) For the past month i've been browsing vids, reading up on this forum and elsewhere, and heading down to the gym, working on form. And now that my weightlifting shoes have arrived I think im ready to start this programme 'for real'.
Going to start with real conservative weights to maintain good form.
Height - 6'
Weight - 80kg
For tomorrow -
Press - 30kg
PC - 30kg
Oh, apologies for the rather corny title. Wanted something a little catchy. Haha.
- Squat 80kg 3 sets across
- Press - managed the 30kg target weight, though with bad form. Going to reset to 25kg for the next workout.
- Power clean 30kg 3 sets across
Weighted chins (10kg) 8, 6, 6 - target is 3x8
Dumbbell curls 2 x 10
