In Seattle now. The trip went from early Saturday morning to about 1 pm on Monday, with six hours of sleeps or so in Chamberlain, SD.
Today has been a lot of walking around town doing a few things, getting a feel for the neighborhood, etc. Tomorrow will be getting the 80% of our possessions that are crammed into the cube, putting them on a truck, and hauling them up three flights of stairs. I'd be a liar if I said I was looking forward to doing this... but our 500 sg ft pad (built in 1929, 90% original fixtures, hardwood floors, arched doorways, high ceilings, with plaster crown molding) is going to look friggin' amazing in a few days time.
Just think of tomorrow as a....WOD.
Post pictures when friggin' amazing.
Welcome to the left coast! I had a feeling your silence meant you were on your grapes of wrath tour. The new digs sound almost like a SoCal craftsman bungalow.
Hope you're enjoying that beautiful view of the Olympics and Mt. Rainier from Seattle. Don't forget to mix in a trip to Vancouver, BC before you get too busy.
