Beware of Dead Butt Syndrome!
Beware of Dead Butt Syndrome!
This actually makes me happy. I'm glad when distance runners have problems like this. But this is charming: "To keep my rear alive, I must be vigilant about continuing to strengthen my lower abdominal and gluteal muscles. Last week, I slacked off and the pain came creeping back. Is it annoying to have to focus so much on these muscles to run? Absolutely. But if it’ll revive my butt, it’s worth every leg lift and crunch."

This = awesome!!!!!:
"....Stop doing squats that overload your quads and hip flexors and begin doing targeted exercises for your hip extensors, glutues maximus and medius! All exercise begins in the brain, it is important to keep all muscles in synergy for optimal health not just follow the leader! Thank you for writing this article! It will help in the fight to change the health of America!"
I'm sure SS version 3 will address this concept of "muscle synergy" in great depth.
It's like reading the transcript of a Buddy Hackett stand-up performance. Priceless humor. Steve's watching out for our entertainment needs.
