If this grip is comfortable why change it? Also it would be more productive to post a video of your bench press because a picture is not enough. And don't worry you can lift a shitload of weight with close grip bench:
This is correct from the perspective of most efficient force transfer onto the bar. However, many people, myself included, are more comfortable with a closer grip, especially those who have hurt their shoulder in the past. My bench grip has my index right on the beginning of the outer knurling. I may be stronger with a woder more efficient grip, but I'll exchange that for training uninterupted by injury (knock on wood).
