    Default Starting to recover better

Should I take this as a good or bad sign? Weight is still going up by 5 pounds each week on most of my lifts.

Recovery however seems to be getting better. I remember periods of time when I'd be trashed on Tuesdays after Monday volume. Lately I haven't had any of the similar pains I used to have. Sleep and food are 95% the same, nothing much has changed.

Am I adapting to the program more and therefore need to increase the strain? Or should I just be happy that I can walk on Tuesdays and continue with the progress?

Be happy you can walk on Tuesday and continue with the progress. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. If it's fixed, don't break it. Don't increase the strain more than your 5 lbs a week, at least while you're still making all your reps. Once you start missing reps for a few workouts or a few weeks, then think about changing something.

Thanks. I've switched to 8x3 which makes it more doable, especially squats. Presses are nearing their limit for 5x5, will switch to 8x3 soon.

I'm pretty sure that soreness is not a good indicator of training quality
