    Default Oh. My. God.

How do you masochists roll your IT bands with a PVC roller. 5 passes was downright painful. 10 was downright excruciating.

Everything else was fine and dandy, and then it came to the IT bands....

I wonder if my 275lb frame has something to do with it?

This is your punishment for neglecting your tight IT bands.

IMO rolling up and down along the IT band is less effective than finding a tight spot and rolling across it or side to side for a few minutes.

But I've been rolling them with a foam roller for months!

PVC is much more painful than a foam roller and yeah, my IT's always kill me.

i wrapped my PVC pipe tightly with an old cheap yoga mat covered in spray adhesive and wrapped it in duct tape. not as brutal as straight PVC but still very very effective.
