Got an ab wheel yesterday, inspired by Oldster. Awesome tool, went conservative with the exercise though. I plan to do it twice per week and increase the total reps each time.

I would absolutely make sure you have a spotter on these. I don't have a lot of experience with them but I have noticed that there is almost no warning of when failure is imminent. When failure does occur on these, it's sudden and the weight drops back down quickly.

Yeah don't worry, I'm asking for a spotter. Did these before with a bit larger weight and thus have some experience with them. I always ask for spotting on heavy bench presses.

Good training, although I wasn't very well rested today.

Good workout- made a new push press pr and did a full range of other lifts. How long did this take?

Thanks. About 80 minutes I think. Since I'm only training twice a week, the sessions need to be a bit longer, compared to a 4 day split.

Its not that hard on my body though because of the singles and doubles. The other training day with sets of five squats and presses is obviously tougher. Since I'm basing this on a 6 week squat program from Jim Steel's new book of programs, the next three weeks will get interesting squat-wise. The other day will be intensity squats with singles across instead of the volume type squats of the previous three weeks, and this day I had today will still have doubles, next week it's a bit lighter, then there'll be a funny one, 12 doubles with 140kg, then on the last week (6th) the attempt at the new PR. That last week will only have that "attempt day", so no squats on day 1. Will see how it goes since the first three weeks had less volume than the book suggests, although I did them at a higher percentage of my max.

That's actually not too bad at 80 minutes. My workouts now are usually between 65-85 minutes. I've noticed that I need to get my big lifts out of the way first because I get pretty tired after about 45 minutes.
