    Very good video. I train alone in my garage... is there no form of this exercise that can be done without a spotter? Cheers.

    I would say most strength people probably share the opinion that comfort is more important than optimal guns training, given they are beating up their elbows and wrists all the time doing proper lifts. I just do hammer curls myself

    Great explanation of the exercise. I haven't done a skullcrusher or triceps extension in quite some time but it seems as is this execution of the exercise would be much much easier on the elbows than the old skullcrusher method, which is why I had stopped doing the skullcrusher method, tough on the elbows. Great video Rip.

    Does this exercises place as much stress on the elbow as the usual triceps push-down/skull-crusher ? I tried push-downs once. It hurts my elbows.

    The form done with light weights could be done without a spotter.
