FWIW, my knees stay out better in flat shoes as well.
I'm definitely switching after the meet. I had thoughts of switching now, but someone should tell me how stupid that would be the week of the meet.

Got centered under the bar this time, I think. Right foot still wants to angle out a little more, but I'm working on that. Stance is usually a tiny bit wider. Could have taken it a little deeper too, but I'm pretty happy with this. Very easy:

It looks better. That right heel sliding in has me thinking of all kind of things. If your body wants the toes out more set each out some more. This is stuff to play with after the meet I suppose.
Oh I almost forgot to look for that. Yep, it slid a little on the descent today. I may need to let the left point out the same, but maybe not so wide of a stance as I've been taking. Yeah, I'll have more time to iron stuff out after the meet. Right after, I'm going back to flat shoes and a more narrow grip with wrist wraps too.
Also, I may be 7 weeks out from yet another full powerlifting meet with 2 meter wraps if I can swing it...
