    That might work better if you took your dad's pain pills, heart medicine might make you piss a whole lot or make you impotent.

    I have, over the course of my occasionally wild and misguided life, consumed large quantities of alcohol and ibuprofen at the same time or in alternating 12 hour cycles. I don't think I've had any serious problems from it myself and am pretty sure a drink or two with I shouldn't be too much trouble for most people. If your are prone to ulcers, though, this combination might cause some issues. I know that alcohol and acetaminophen are supposed to be bad for the liver, but I think you usually have to be a heavy drinker or have an existing liver problem (I think). All that being said, it's probably best to not mix your drugs.

    Dude, I hope you've done more than swallow your ibuprofen with alcohol, otherwise that doesn't count as a "wild and misguided life."
