    i came in tonight but missed you, rob. see you at the Total, i guess? i had planned to be a plate loader for the meet, but i might have to punt.

    I'll be helping out at the Total and cheering folks on, yes. I'm actually going to warm up with them as my last workout pre-meet. Plate loading? I'm not a big fan due to the back work it requires and the awful positions within which you have to do it.

    Default Extra Light recovery day

    Bench: 185x5, 205x3

    Press: 115x3

    Super short and light today. I decided to press like on a recovery day instead of bench again. No point in benching three time in one week, I never do that.

    I'm ready.

    Good thinking. When in doubt do Recovery work. I used to have my throwers do "ridiculously light" Thursday workouts before Saturday track meets. It was tough reining them in at 19 and 20 years old but it worked.
