fine..have at it..eat bread..get fat..I look at bread and gain a pound so I throw that shit out..at 20 or 30 no problem..now at 55 i try and drop the meaningless carbs out of my diet. Sorry for changing the tenor of the thread..I'll go back to my lurking status
I get it, bro. But if the bread is whole wheat, is it really all that bad? I need about 360 grams of carbs a day. If I get 10 servings of fruit/vegetables a day, that's probably a little more than 320 grams of carbs. I'm gonna need some whole wheat bread or brown rice to make up the rest of the carbs for more performance.
you guys are right!..I actually thought I was in the "The Elderly" forum when I replied so I was a bit terse..I've been on a mainly "Paleo' diet with added dairy (milk, Whey..etc) for the last 16 months and have seen good results. I've dropped bread, pasta, rice.
Enjoy your paninis it sounds like you have a couple of decades before you have to start dealing with this crap. :-)
