deadlifts are where you put them. I liked doing them once a day when I was at your point. Friday was deadlift day.

This is the advanced novice program verbatim from PPST2:

    Week 1:
    M: Squat, Press, Deadlift
W: Light Squat, Bench, GHR, Chins
    F: Squat, Press, Power Clean

    Week 2:
    M: Squat, Bench, GHR, Chins
    W: Light Squat, Press, Deadlift
    F: Squat, Bench, GHR, Chins

    Week 3:
    M: Squat, Press, Clean
W: Light Squat, Bench, GHR, Chins
    F: Squat, Press, Deadlift

    Week 4:
    M: Squat, Bench, GHR, Chins
    W: Light Squat, Press, Clean
    F: Squat, Bench, GHR, Chins

    Repeat

Interesting. It does have pulling on the "recovery" day twice a month.

Although I'm guessing this is more like what you guys have been referring to:
    Week 1:
    M: Squats, Press, Deadlift
W: Light Squats, Bench, GHR, Chins
    F: Squats, Press, Power Cleans

    Week 2:
    M: Squats, Bench, Deadlift, Chins
    W: Light Squats, Press, GHR
    F: Squats, Bench, Cleans, Chins

I kind of want to do this:
    Week 1:
M: Squats, Press, Power Snatch or Power Cleans, GHR
W: Light Squats, Bench, Deadlift, Chins
F: Squats, Press, Power Clean, GHR

    Week 2:
M: Squats, Bench, Power Snatch or Power Cleans, GHR
    W: Light Squats, Press, Deadlift
F: Squats, Bench, Power Cleans, GHR

I tried doing the deads on Wednesday, I found it didn't work well, I didn't feel recovered on Friday.

It sounds like the most conservative approach is this one:
    Week 1:
    M: Squats, Press, Deadlift
W: Light Squats, Bench, GHR, Chins
    F: Squats, Press, Power Cleans

    Week 2:
    M: Squats, Bench, Deadlift, Chins
    W: Light Squats, Press, GHR
F: Squats, Bench, Power Cleans, Chins

That's probably what I should do considering my tendency to be too aggressive with my programming.

Bench and press every week, other than that it's what I'd do.

Wait, what do you mean? You'd bench twice a week, every week?

Haha, no worries man. Get some sleep. I've taken enough of your time as it is. Thanks for the help.

I'm just finishing dinner and playing pokemon. The steak isn't really great, so it's taking some time. I fried some bananas with bacon, those were quite good, on the other hand.

These are mandatory anytime I visit my Grandma. Traditional Puerto Rican food. Sometimes I wish I lived with her so I could eat this type of stuff for every meal. I'm craving some rice, beans, and pork right now.
