I remember when all the cool kids called the unpopular kids "faygs".

Thanks joose. I'm hoping to be alright by Monday. I want to pull 415x3-5.

Happy Sad Saturday to all the Navajos.

Celebrating with wide grip bench and safety bar squatting.

Mirin' that wide-grip bench. I can't wait to go back to it. I've been narrow-gripping it Rip Style for months now and I can't wait to see if it has had a positive impact on my wide-grip bench #s.

On another sad note, my brother Tony got an x-ray to confirm that he tore a muscle in-between his ribs. IDK how long he will be out or if he will be out at all.

    Intercostal? That's nothing.

Wide is ok. Just takes getting adjusted to. My shoulders aren't happy. I put up an extra 25 just to test it out. No issues beyond residual.

He's not really used to fighting through pain/injuries.

I only ever had shoulder problems from benching when I neglected my overhead press. I was benching 2-3x/wk at one point and that is really the only time my shoulders were buggered, but that probably comes down to the fact I'm so new to this and I'm still pushing around baby weights.

    Manliness begins, perhaps.

Intercostals heal better if you can work through the pain. Have him take maybe a week off and do the 3200 of IB for like 5 days then get back at it and fight through.
