You don't have to "cut" you just have to stop stuffing yourself with ridiculous amounts of food and milk, and skip most of the junk. You should be able to get stronger on Madcow and tighten things up abit that way.

445x5 is no fucking joke, no matter how shitty they felt or if some were a pube high.

I'm not counting macros or calories and there is no reason that I shouldn't be doing that. That is what dedicated athletes do. Secondly, even though I usually don't give a fuck what people think, it bothers me that people discredit lifting accomplishments when the lifter is fat. It's almost as if they look at it as, "Hey, if I was that fat and I could easily do what you do too...", and that's probably true, but they AREN'T doing what I do and that's what matters most. That's a petty reason, I know, but, hey, I'm human and, like everyone else, I dislike being discredited.
I hate that shit. But there's no pleasing weak people. Like Lyle Mcdonald who thinks being over 10% is fat. Lol.

Yeah, everything in due time. I haven't even been at this seriously for 10 months. I wasted a good 2-3 of those months as well. We'll see where I'm at in another two years. In the mean time, all the shit talkers just provide more fuel. Like I even need it..

I'm running on four hours of sleep or so. I'm trying to decide whether or not to go hard today. I guess I'll have to see how the bar feels on my back.

I went out to a meet today to support some friends and also help out a few training partners:
    Partner 1) Very light 198, 16y/o, 439/238/439(+14 PR)/1116
    Gym lifts before hand were: 405x4 and 455x1 / 250x3 and 265x1 / 405x4 and 425x1
    Partner 2) Light 242, 21y/o, 439/283/477(+22 PR)/1198
Gym lifts before hand were: 475x1 and 405x6/250x8 and 300x1/405x3 and 455x1

Overall, it was a very cool experience. My partners were kind of bummed about the squatting and benching, but the deadlift PRs made up for it to some degree. We had a lot of fun and I saw some AMAZING lifts.

The highlight of the meet for me was seeing Ben Seath squat 863 to depth. I got to meet him afterwards which was pretty cool. brb bulking to 308, lol (not serious).

I didn't lift yesterday because of the meet and I'm not going to end up lifting today either. For Mother's Day, my mom wanted to go on a hike at Wallace Falls. This wasn't the hardest hike in the world, but it wasn't exactly easy. We were all pretty beat up afterwards. I don't if I'll be ready to go tomorrow and I'm not sure what I want to do even if I am. Normally, Monday is my "light" day, but what would be the point of a light day if I haven't had a heavier day this week?

Since this week is pretty fucked up as it is, I'm thinking of just deloading and maxing. My motivations have been shifting over the last week or so and I'm getting stronger and stronger urges to change up my programming and diet. Right now I'm not sure, but I might try to do a high frequency or a high volume program like Smolov or Sheiko. I'd like to get myself within water cutting distance of 165 as well.

For now, I'll try to finish my LP. I'm not sure I will completely milk everything 100%. Frankly, I'd really like to start doing something more powerlifting centric. Increasing my 5s is great, but, for the amount of weight I've gained, I feel like my results have been quite sub-par for everything for my squat.

I also do not know how much longer I want to continue to train "naturally".

I'm not thinking very clearly right now so I'll revisit all of this later, but I'm definitely feeling like changing everything.

I'd say LP is pretty much milked my dude. There's always the option of indefinite LP through weight gain, but by now I imagine you've puked in your mouth (and swallowed) a fair number of times. And 165 is pretty far away, if that's your goal.

You're looking into steroids? If I interpreted that right, I'd be interested in the details when you have a clear head. Not sure that's what you meant though, since that would limit your options for competition

I'm moving on from novice style training, new log here:

What would you like to know, skip? It isn't that I'm looking into steroids. I already have. I've looked into that option extensively for months. I've decided against it for now, though.
