Default Squat Check -- first post

Hi All, I'm new here and would like some advice on my squat. I've broken my 3 year CF addiction and am looking into getting strong. I do not have access to a coach so any good advice would be greatly appreciated.

This was a PR for me.

Also, when on my youtube channel if you can see my DL videos...I know I lead with my ass. What's a good cue to correct for that?

    Thank you.

You're letting your knees come forward at the bottom, and you could stand to keep your chest up a bit more (looking down at a spot so close to you might be a factor). Try looking a bit further ahead and keep that chest up. If you can't fix the knees-forward issue, you can try the block of wood.

Maybe, maybe, maybe an inch high, but they looked good to me overall. Definitely not 2".

Watched it again, I'm going to say depth was perfect.

deadlift though you are setting up too far from the bar. Watch your ass rtise before the bar comes up any meaningful distance. have your shins touching the bar when you're standing up straight, it's too far away from you to begin with. You are touching it with your shins but the legs are already bent.

Thanks all for the advice. I do look at a spot on the ground that is maybe too close. I will work on this next time and see if that helps keep my chest up.

Jstrong, thanks for the DL help. Will adjust and correct this week.

Toes out and knees out more.

Your knees are moving forward at the bottom and it looks like ti is because you're hips aren't opened up enough...

It also looks like you're starting by dropping your chest...
