    Thanks, Dana.

John, it was a 14 lb PR. I pulled 661 in a meet last October. Hell, I'll take 14 lbs/year at this point. I think I would have fallen about 10 lbs shy of 700 yesterday, but I might attempt it in two weeks just to find out.

I got the video up on my youtube account from my camera:

    Thanks, Dwayne and Mac.

I had a decent squat day today, but I can tell I'm starting to get overreached. Will pull and squat very light on Tuesday in an effort to avoid a total deload next Friday on squats. Not deloading for an entire week has been working really well for a long time now. Taking 1 of 2 lower body workouts a little easy every 6 weeks or so seems to do the trick. Taking 2 of 2 lower body workouts as a deload would mean not working the squat hard for 10-14 days, and that's extreme.

RPEs used below for my tracking purposes only.

    11/14
    Squat 475x4,4,4 (RPE 8,8,9.5)

    Cg bench 295x5,5,6 (RPE 7,7,8.5)

Prowler 8 runs of 20 yards

    GHR bw+25 3x10

    11/19

    Bench 335 3x3
    Pullups bwx5, bw+40x5,5,5,5, bwx5
    Rope triceps ext 5x10

--Feeling a little beat up, so took it kind of easy on the volume and accessory work. One of my training partners recently competed in an SPF meet, and in the rules meeting the lifters were told that the SPF no longer allows deadlift slippers or...wait for it...walked out squats. In fact, a walked out squat (i.e. a squat) will get you DQ'd from an SPF meet.

I won't be doing an SPF meet again, and the consensus among the gym members is that, other than those who already are signed up for one last meet, nobody else will be doing SPF meets in the future either.

I'm leaning toward APA or USPA at this point, although the latter doesn't have many meets in the southeast. Anyone have much experience with either of these feds?

I've done a few APA meets. They were super inefficient and have highly variable equipment. I switched to RPS and it's so much better that it's almost funny.
