Uh, you know the one that was on the goddamn front page of this website for about a week lol. There's one in Atlanta. I'm signed up now. I will just train as planned with a little two week detour/taper before the meet.

    9/9
Speed deadlift 325+150 band tension 10x2
    2 sec pause squat 335 6x2
    GHR bw+25 3x10
7 prowler pushes of 20 yards

--Today was my weigh in day. I've been dieting 1 week and am down three pounds. No visible difference and my belt still fit really tight today, but I also was bloated from eating a shitload of oatmeal about an hour before training. Energy level is really high right now. I guess I had no idea how many calories are in restaurant food. I used to eat at least one of my meals out every day. Now I'm cramming way more protein and clean food and I'm so full I can barely ingest my next meal when the time comes (every 3 hours, FML, never thought I wouldn't look forward to eating).

Lol, I haven't seen the front page of this site in months.

Good luck, I bet you'll win that ish.

    Thanks, Dana. We'll see.

    9/12
Squat 420x5,5,5,5 (at least 2 reps left on last set)
    GHR bw+25 3x10
    Prowler - 9 runs of 20 yards

--Felt pretty good today. Solid focus on every rep. Weight holding steady at 208, but this week I've increased sodium and started taking creatine, so it's ok if my weight just holds. Will readjust based after my weigh-in in a week and a half.

3.75" deficit deadlift 540x4 (PR). Video (disclaimer: I don't know how facebook vids work; hopefully you can see it):

    Snatch grip deadlift 245x5, 335x5, 445x5
Speed squat 295+150 band tension 8x2
    GHR bwx15,15,10
Push prowler 20 yards and drag back 20 yards - 4 runs

-Very good day. The diet seems to be working well. I was down to 207 this morning, so I've lost one lb since last week. Might cut a few more carbs next week.

    9/19

Squat 450x3,3,3,3,4 (RPE 9.5 by end)
Prowler 10 runs of 20 yards

--No assistance work today because I'm feeling a little beat up. Today's performance was neither good nor bad. Just putting in work.

I am getting irritated at a couple of the younger guys in the gym. They are pretty fond of telling me that they're almost as strong as I am, that they're catching up to me, etc...when, first, neither has even squatted 5 or pulled 6 and, second, they are juiced to the gills. Let's just say I've seen squats go up about 80-100 lbs in 3 months in 2 guys who put forth as little effort as I've ever seen from a "serious" lifter. They didn't start training harder when they went on, they didn't start training smarter or eating better or doing anything better. They simply show up, do a heavy set or two every week or two, go home, then come to the gym and interrupt my focus while I'm resting between work sets, talking about "man, I think I'm only like 40 lbs off your squat now. You better watch out." I came pretty close to smacking the shit of out of someone after my 2nd set today. I have a short temper to begin with.
