I'm considering adding a half gallon of milk/day as well (post pic). Though milk seems to have run its course and simply adds fat to the waistline which has slowly (and I mean slowly) shrinking.

As long as I'm hitting the numbers Jim is prescribing, I'm not worried, I'm eating mostly protein, so I shall continue as I have been since January.
I eat a lot of fish and sweet potatoes, FWIW. I seem to not put on too much fat either.

    Wednesday, April 4

    Squats: 2x5x45, 5x135, 3x185, 2x225, 2x4x265

Deadlift: 2x5x135, 5x225, 2x275, 1x315, 1x355, 1x385, 2x405 PR This is a 20lb PR. I was assigned 1x405, all week I told myself I was getting a double, and I did. I think I had 3 easy, but I'm one to stick with the program. Jim has kept me from getting injured while getting bigger and stronger. I'm not going to abandon the program now, but I know Jim likes doubles a lot, so what the hell. I'm not a robot either!

    Barbell Rows: 3x135, 6x185, 4x6x195

Great work Mac. I knew you were gonna crush that 405 and you did even better than crush it. Beast mode. Have you told Jim you did a double? I'd love to know his response.

Awesome job Mac. I remember the first time I pulled 4 wheels on each side of the barbell. Its a great milestone and feeling.

    ....now onto 5 wheels!

Big week!!!! Huge PRs all around. In two days it will be our one year anniversary of becoming lifters and walking away from being skinny crossfitters. Together we have gained 52lbs..... I wonder if anyone has noticed....hehe

I think we need to do a progress report this weekend and post our numbers from week one and now.

    Great job today!

    Nice Job with the PRs!

I like the idea of measuring success in pounds gained! Since last year I've gained 33lbs and Jenica has gainind 20lbish I think. We're just edging you guys out at 53lbs total couple weight gained.

His response was appropriate, "Hell yes!!!!"

He has since informed me that I will be competing on May 5 with Gillian at whatever meet she is competing in. Time to buy a singlet...

Indeed, but for now, I'd just like to put some change on the outside and work toward 455...

Don't be so quick to judge...she was actually referring to weight added to our individual lifts, however...

I have gained 32lbs, and I think Gillian is somwhere around 20lbs, it may be closer than we think. We'll figure it out tomorrow. I'm flying tonight, which means sweating a LOT, but I'm pretty certain I will weigh in tomorrow around 216 or 217.
