I loved reading this one. Way to stick with it, man! I think we have all experienced the 2nd set being lighter than the first, but this was more inspiring than the usual.

    Nice work, and congratulations :-)

haha Shocking. I know my novell skills aren't up to par but, oh well.

It's a pretty cool feeling though. I dug it for sure.

Is there much of a difference between either?

Posted in Goals but, I wanted a record of it here.

    So, here we go.

    My first attempt:

    Here is my second attempt:

Some weird looking butt wink or something. I'll need to address that..

But I did it, I could have dome more but, I was really out of breath. I know my legs had more, my lungs didn't.

Now to go cut the grass. Finish laundry before the family gets home.

Grats man! I liked the story too. Sometimes the weights try to mess with our minds, but you handled it correctly, got pissed, and did it! :-)

Thanks man. It totally does mess with the mind. I feel that's 80-85% of my weakness.

    Thanks.

haha I'm surprised it's gone this well. (The story :P)

    --

I hate myself for taking almost two weeks off. At least my legs will tonight and tomorrow.

I did the 225X20 two Saturdays ago but, it didn't help me today.

    Squat - 315X5X3
    Bench Press - 75X5X3
    Back Extensions - 10X3
    Chin-Ups - 10X3

I didn't really do chinups. I bought some bands hoping they'd support me but, my fat 335lbs ass just stretched them out and offered no recoil. hahah It was funny. Imagine what others thought. I got onto the cable machine and added a single handle to one of the cables. Squatted down onto my knees and "mimicked" doing a chinup. I figure that's the closets I'm going to get to a real chinup as long as I'm a weak fat ass.

I might microload for the next week or two of squats. 315 was heavy as hell. I thought I wasn't going to make the last few reps in the last work set.

I might get to lift in my first meet in July.

July 28, 2012 Mississippi State Championships NHB 24/7 Hattiesburg

Received this from Chris (The Director.).

    Michael

You are more then welcome to come lift, even if it is just as a guest lifter. I will work very hard these next few weeks to let you know what accommodations USAPL Mississippi can make for you to lift at this. One quick question do you only want to squat only or compete in the squat and deadlift only?

    Thanks, Chris
So, I hope it will all work out.

    Friday: 20120406
    Squats: 325lbs/147kg
    BP: 80lbs/36.2kg
    BE: 3X15
    CU: 3X15

    Monday: 20120409
    Squats: 330lbs/150kg

Have you started squatting without the manta ray support?

Naaa, I will do it if I feel like it but, I don't think I'm going to the competition to squat 185lbs when I'm doing 300lbs+. I was on fire today (motivated) and I just wanted to hit my weights and go.

I feel that I'm going to be heading to TM or something in the next few months, I might do no MR squats on the light days or if I feel like crap and get the feeling I don't really want to work out, I might do my warmup sets without the MR.
