    Well, tonight I tried to match my PR on the bench (280 single) and failed miserably... twice. I am REALLY hating my elbow injury right about now.

    Yeah, he smoked 475. After a couple of 5 hour energies at the meet, he will hit 500 for sure! :-)

    5 hour energy, eh? Never thought of taking some of that. Good idea at the meet? I'm racking my brains with good portable stuff to take. I don't know what to expect, if I'm going to be able to get get a bite to eat or what.

    Take mostly carbs and sodium. Take a liter or two of gatorade. A big ass bag of chex/trail mix. Maybe some PBnJ's. Stuff like that. Some shots of 5 hour energy sound like a good idea.

    I like to take a bag of penut M&Ms, and some type of caffeine. Although at my last meet they provided a cold meat and fruit tray for the lifters which was fantastic.
